Once you find that information, though, how do you analyze it and apply it to your understanding of concepts and texts? In persuasive texts, it is important to understand the facts and opinions, but if you find other information, how can you apply this to the persuasive text you are studying? Today s lesson objective is: Students will be able to interpret information presented in diverse media and formats and explain how it contributes to a topic, text, or issue under study. Take a moment to think about this objective. In the last lesson, you learned how to search for new information on various subjects. Once you find that information and analyze it, how do you use your new knowledge to interpret the main text you are studying?
